Ken Sim has been working the land his entire adult life. In 2000, at 18 years of age, he started up a landscaping business in North Bay, Ont., which he ran successfully as his sole focus up until 2009 when he decided to change his scope and get into the aggregate business.

New Laurier Woods boardwalk dedicated to man with love of outdoors
A new 180 ft boardwalk will soon connect the 1 km loop of the purple trail at Laurier Woods Conservation Area, thanks to the friends and family of 28-year old Michael Gauthier who wanted to honour his memory, his passion for the outdoors, and his love of the woodland.
House comes down to improve church parking
An almost-century-old house on First Avenue W. came down Tuesday morning to make way for parking at Calvin Presbyterian Church. The building had been purchased by the church to make way for additional parking to serve the church and the various programs offered.
